Karen Logue receives BG Comunity Foundation AwardKaren Logue, Managing Director of West T. Hill Community Theatre, pictured here with Mort Hoagland (left), Vice President of Farmers National Bank and Mike Perros (right) of Stifel-Nicholas, both board members of the Bluegrass Community Foundation, is presented a grant check for $5000.00.

Logue says the grant is for the summer childrens camp, CampCauseWeLoveToAct. The camp will be bigger and better than ever, expanding to three weeks to allow more kids to participate.

Currently at WTHCT, we are gearing up for the presentation from "Nightmare Off Broadway" - "Nightcrawlers". Tickets are General Admission (seats are first come, first serve) and cost $10.00. Box office will open October 25th or you can buy tickets online by clicking here. The "Nightcrawlers" production can be seen Friday October 29th and/or Saturday October 30th at 8:00 PM.

Also currently in production is "North Pole Star" by Sally K. Albrecht and Jay Althouse, and directed by Beth Marlowe, Children's Theatre Coordinator and director of CampCauseWeLoveToAct. Show dates for the Youth Off Broadway production are December 3-5, 10-12 & 17-19. Click Here for Cast.

Next audtions will be for “Vintage Hitchcock: A Radio Play”. Audtions will be December 12th @ 2:30 PM and 13th @ 6:30 PM at the West Wing, 139 N. Third Street, Danville. If you ever wanted to be in theatre but weren't sure about all the memorization, then this is the show to try. The stage is like an old time 1940's radio studio and the actors are the performers for the show. Back then, they read from scripts, well so do we! It's a lot of fun and we need several characters. Hitchcock will be directed by Crystal and Bill Nichols.
